I am originally from Los Angeles and have spent the last 15 years in San Francisco. I am excited to bring my practice to Los Angeles and returning home to be near my family and friends.
I have a Masters in Counseling (MA) and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am currently working on my PhD in Mind-Body Medicine with an emphasis in Integrative Mental Health at Saybrook University. I have extensive training in somatic psychotherapy, attachment work (AEDP), Hakomi, mind-body medicine, couples counseling and child development.
In addition to my training as a psychotherapist, I am also a certified school counselor (PPSC) and I have worked in various school environments with students of all ages. I am comfortable and have experience with special education needs, parent-child interactions, career counseling, school placement and other school related issues that arise in the ever changing environment of education. I was also a chess coach for 6 years for the San Francisco Unified School District.
